Added new dll. Seems to be working ;D

Ran TV Channel scan right after replacing with new dll... all worked correctly.

Just to make sure, I shut down the computer, waited about a minute & re-booted. Re-ran the TV channel scan & again it was all correct.

What is different about this dll ?

Seems that we have gone through this procedure before only to have it later stop on channel 26 of 68 so can't really say if the new dll is the reason I got two in a row good TV channel scans or not.

Will keep my fingers crossed  :P

One other thing I'm wondering about...
After updating to the latest MC version 26.0.29 I did a complete TV setup including Reset all TV settings (I checked all three boxes).

After the TV Reset but before I installed the new dll, I noticed two positive things...
1: Going from music to TV to TV Options was much snappier.
2: This one is a biggie for me... all my Lip Sync problems were a thing of the past.

TV Channel scanning & Lip Syncing problems were the two main reasons I started using other TV software programs as the two problems combined made MC TV unusable for me.

What I'm wondering... if the slowness of MC TV in general (before the Reset all TV Settings) could be the main factor in the 26 of 68 TV Channel scan hanging ?

After the reset everything about the TV seems to be running better then before.

What do you think ?

Not sure what to say about the effect of resetting.

Regarding channel scan, the difference is the way I handle a DirectShow interface.  In the past I query the system for that interface each time we tune to a new channel, use it, and release it.  On your computers after certain number of channels scanned, querying such interface became non-responsive.  Now I just keep the same interface for the entire process.  That reduced the number of times we have to ask DirectShow system for the interface.  It took me a while to figure out where the stall was.

So this one may be good.  I am still puzzled why it happened on both of your computers but not on my computers.

That's the problem.  Some other piece of software possibly.  Antivirus or similar preventing Windows from doing its job.

Just an update. Yesterday I did a new channel scan (some new channels in the Houston area) & it completed (fairly fast if I do say so) without any problems.

Needless to say that made me one happy camper 😍

Thanks again for all your hard work Yoabing.
