Good evening everyone!

Hope you're all doing well

I'm trying to purchase speakers to use with my laptop, but JRiver software says that my laptop doesn't support 5.64 MHz playback.

The song I want to play Audio Codec as DSD 128, Recording Format 1 / 5.64 MHz as well as the distribution Format: 1 / 5.64 MHz
May I ask, does anyone know and could please tell me if there is any budget DAC/speakers that perfectly supports 5.64MHz?

My two initial options were:

• ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 Bookshelf Speakers, Black (Pair)
• Fluance AI60

I don't know much about these issues, I'm quiet new in the hardware world (but I'm a veteran with software and have been listening to vinyls for decades)

I tried searching this problem but there were no search results match.

What's your budget range? You'll want a DSD-capable DAC, since speakers don't really matter for the playback of DSD (meaning any speakers connected to a DSD-capable DAC should output the sound of the DSD files just fine).

Once you get a DSD-capable DAC (I'd recommend a USB DAC), connect it to the laptop via USB, install the drivers if needed (e.g. ASIO driver), then select the USB DAC as the audio device in MC's Options > Audio (use ASIO if available or WASAPI in exclusive if it supports DoP) then enable DSD bitstreaming in MC to enable playback of DSD music files.

For example in my setup, my Topping D50s USB DAC supports from DSD64 up to DSD512 also up to 32-bit/768kHz for regular PCM. I just connect it to any speakers I have and I'm off to the races.

My budget range for this type of electronic equipment is just average, I can literally get good deals in auctions for anything so I'm not precisely interested in "top current 2020" equipment when perfect devices that are completely capable of doing everything were engineered a few years ago.

I was told the best budget speakers are the ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 Bookshelf Speakers, Black (Pair) but they do not have an internal DAC, so I was told that an amplifier is required for them to work.

The thing is man, I'm new with this things. I've read a lot but I've never owned an "amp" idk what would be able to reproduce 5.64 MHz playback, Audio Codec DSD 128. This digital format (I don't own physical vinyls anymore and most artist I love record straight into DSD)

I'll be mostly using a regular aux to play music from laptop or cellphone (both have the software required to play these type of format) so idk if it's a good idea to get a USB DAC that wouldn't work with my cellphone?

I own an Optimus Mps-45. I believe it's a mono speaker, but the quality is great (and all I know) with the right settings. Perhaps any other stereo speaker could do better? (Thinking of those ELAC Debut 2.0)

You'd have to connect the USB DAC to the device JRiver Media Center is running on to get DSD128 bitstreaming output working that way, e.g. your laptop in this case.

Do you know of a good budget Amplifier with Built In DAC integrated? (that can playback DSD 128)

It's just difficult to find any information about which things are required for the ELAC pair to work with JRiver to be compatible with DSD 128 (DAC and AMP are 100% required) but I have no idea which AMP works with JRiver? or DSD128

You could check the Khadas Tone Board dac, it can do dsd256 and pcm384.
For the speakers you could consider the Adam Audio T5V or T7V, they are powered speakers and you don’t need a power amplifier.
