JRemote2 for Android compiled for Android automotive OS
« on: July 13, 2020, 12:15:17 am »

Have been using JRemote2 for Androide on my Samsung Note9 for some time and it's working very well.
This is just some thoughts/ideas from my seide :-)

I have on order the new Polestar2 car. Have it scheduled for delivery to me in september.
https://www.polestar.com
Polestar will be using the Android Automotive OS and it would be very cool if Jremote2 could be the music player in the car.
One link for developers is this link; https://developer.android.com/training/cars/media/automotive-os

I believe that Android Automotive OS will over time have a very huge impact in the automotive market.
How cool to use Jremote2 as the player .

I also would love to have Android Auto support.  Playing music in the car is my largest use of my remote jriver apps.

You guys might want to look into MO 4Media which is another remote app, but it supports Android Auto.

I have a car with Android Auto and use MO 4Media on a regular basis and can confirm it works very well.
