It was working fine a couple weeks ago but now I'm switching between a 2 channel setup being processed by a miniDSP 4x10 and a pure software XO processed in MC paraEQ for a fully active 2.3 system (3 way with 3 subs) with convolution on a Motu Ultralite MK3. I get a crash every time I switch filter settings in the app making it difficult to A/B test. Same convo on both settings and I've relented to the standard skin with no other exotic plugins. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Once MC restarts the correct filters are loaded but I turn everything way down now in case something really barfs and sends full range to a ribbon tweet with nothing but a protection cap.

Well, my post was just hours before the new MC was announced for release!

I'm happy to report that switching presets is now working as it should so far. Thanks!

Unfortunately the problem persists. Hard crash and restart every time I change the preset.
