Cannot install downloaded latest version -Windows Store-

Hi there,

having downloaded JRiver 260098 and purchased an upgrade to V27, I am not able to install it on Windows 10 due to MS Store blocking any kind of program outside their controlled origin.



All firewalls and Windows defender characteristics that have to do with downloading programs out of their store and installing new software have been disabled. Windows Store is, of course, updated.

Is your Windows 10 running in S Mode? If so, the only way around it is to upgrade to Windows 10 Home or Pro, which will then allow the installation and running of applications outside of the Microsoft Store. Otherwise there's nothing JRiver can do about this.
