Two problems: missing files and "stuttering"
« on: August 20, 2020, 11:09:47 pm »

I recently purchased an MC 27 license, and upgraded from MC 24 to MC 26.

Missing files:
In MC 24 (and every previous version of MC that I'd used), there was a minus sign (-) in the small thumbnail column next to files that are missing. In MC 26, I just deleted a file and no minus sign appeared next to that file. Has this feature been deliberately removed? If so, why? I personally found the visual clue that there was a problem to be useful.

"Stuttering":
In MC 26, when I'm playing a track and double-click to start playing a different track, the currently playing track immediately starts repeating the same second or two of music over and over, rather than starting to play the new track. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens almost every time. This behavior never happened to me in MC 24. Any ideas what's going on?

Thank you for your help.

did you configure your Anti Virus/Windows Defender fot MC26.

Major updates require configuring AV/Defender for them. Just apply what you did for MC24 to MC26.

I never had to do anything to Defender for MC24. I just installed MC24 and everything worked fine from the beginning. So I did apply exactly what I did for MC24 to MC26.
