And it works, to my surprise.

I was sitting on the couch, as usual, playing a Cloudcast playlist on my laptop, a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook.  It was OK, but the sound isn't great.  I thought, I ought to play this on my PC across the room because the sound is so much better. 

PC > HDMI > Receiver > TV.  The speakers are way better.

But, there was a Chromecast symbol in the taskbar.  Hey, I ought to try that...  I selected the Shield to cast to and turned on the receiver.

And it worked.  And it sounds good.

Given all that's going on, it's a miracle.

The sound tends to break up if I'm moving the mouse around, but otherwise, it's good.
