In MJ8, I used to be able to operate virtually everything from the keyboard. This was very handy for my HTPC/radio keyboard/armchair setup.
Keyboard support in MC9 is much worse though. Here are just a selection of problems:

Arrow keys don't work properly in thumbnail mode. Up and down work OK, but left and right only access the first two columns.  

Tab only takes you from the tree to the search field, not to the tracks.    

When you're in the tree, Ctrl-W, Ctrl-W moves the focus to the search field for some reason    

HAIRSTYLE:
Holding down an arrow key scrolls invisibly. You can only see where you are when you let go.
Pressing the first letter of a tab doen't jump to it.
No Ctrl-2/3/4/5  to quickly jump to Playing Now, Media Library etc.

Hairstyle is usable with just the keyboard, but trying to edit tags or organise files is impossible. Is it not part of the Windows UI spec that software shouldn't require a mouse?
