Missing Trackinfo Templates
« on: September 17, 2020, 07:36:46 am »

Is there a way - or is it planned - to integrate track info templates into MC?
https://yabb.jriver.com/mediacenter/accessories.php
I mostly use the standard view, and I really miss the track information with more information about the song

You can go back to the previous MC version's folder and copy and paste them to your current version.

I mean the templates that are in Windows in the folder
C: \ Program Files \ J River \ Media Center 27 \ Visualizations \ Track Info \ are stored.

There is no such folder on Linux

They are in both linux and Mac now.
Give build 27.0.20 a try and let us know what you think!

Hi Bob,
Thanks for the track info templates.

Unfortunately it seems that very few are still interested in it.
The desire to add the Notes field to Template Noire is probably unrealistic.

Some problems:

When I have selected a template, it is no longer possible to click it in the Playing-Now window.
No reaction
A new selection only works via View ---> Display .....
Noire-Viz gives a white window when I click Lyrics / Notes.
That would be the favorite for me
Is it possible to get this template to work?

Because of the way the internal browser works with MC in linux we needed to add that View->Display menu to change the display mode once a trackinfo template is selected.

I'll check out that notes field, it's probably just a case sensitivity issue on one of the files (linux is, Mac and Windows not).
Let me know if you see anything else.
Thanks!
