restore not working on mc27 after upgrade from mc23

I upgraded from mc 23 to mc 26 after making restore point. restore is exremely slow and not working.   running windows 7 x64. making a restore point in 23 and restoring in 23 is a matter of seconds, restoring in 26 and 27 are extemely slow and not working. the backups made in 23 are not restoring in MC 26 or MC 27. first I get the message to wait then I see the rotating circle showing it is active but this continues for 15 minutes or more then I close the program forcefully.

Antivirus could do that.  It's not a normal problem.  Try waiting a few hours to see what happens.
