NEW: Each EPG loading method will have its own daily start time
« on: September 28, 2020, 08:59:17 am »

Description

With build 27.0.16, EPG loading modes will have their own start time settings so users can configure miltiple modes to start at different time of the day.

Previously, there is only one overall start time (hour and minute).  Multiple EPG loading modes would start at the the same time, not simultaneously, but one after another, with OTA scanning always happening last.

Now each loading method will have its own start time, so the user can decide with one to go first, etc.  Please read jmone's post here for the reason for needing this arrangement.

Instructions

If you do nothing to your existing setup, MC will continue to use your overall start time to start EPG loading.  Any new EPG mode added from now on will require you to choose a start time (hour and minute), on the same page where you select a re-load frequency.  If you still want to use the old system, you can just leave "Hour" selection to "Default".  Here "Default" means "use overall start time".

You can modify your existing EPG loading modes by editing each one.  Start "Load Program Guide..." tool.  Click anywhere on the line that contains the EPG mode you want to edit to enable Edit button.  Click Edit button to edit.  Select a start hour from the drop-down list, and optionally select a start minute from the drop-down list.  Click Finish.

After you finish editing all modes, make sure "Do not run now, just save settings" is selected, near the bottom of the window, before you click OK button.  If you do not do this, all active loading modes will be executed when you click OK, in GUI mode.
