HDMI Issue
« on: September 27, 2020, 04:43:45 am »

Since a few weeks I have a rme HDSPe AIO Pro and TV sound is routed through the card.

Before watching TV, I start the Media Renderer, MC appears in Standard View and every thing works.

 - Switching then to TV watching Netflix for e.g. two hours - everything works .

 - Switching back to MC via TV remote a standard picture appears. MC can play audio but one does not see the Standard View.

 - Playing a video, hit the stop button and play the video again brings back standard view and the video on the TV screen.

It seems if watching TV and audio is routed to the rme card and MC, the HDMI connection is going to sleep and needs a wake up.

Any idea to avoid this behaviour of the HDMI connection?

Try pressing Stop, not Pause.
