I just changed my EPG to SiliconDust.  Now, when subscribing to a TV program with "Do Not Record Reruns" selected, the "To Be Recorded" list gets populated with reruns of that program, which are then indeed recorded.  This is the case with both new subscriptions and previous subscriptions.

Is this correctable, or does the SiliconDust EPG not label reruns as reruns?

When you look at the "to be recorded" list in standard view, do you see check marks in the "New" column for new programs? And no check marks in that column for reruns? And in theater view do you see a green STAR for programs that are "new"?

It appears that with SiliconDust data, all shows appear to be "new".

I am not sure whether we have some issues interpreting the SiliconDust data.  We assumed that all shows are new unless the XMLTV entry explicitly says it is "previously shown".

Yes, all shows are indeed listed as “New” in standard view, whether new or rerun.  In Theater View, however, there are no green stars next to any show.

Thank you.  At some point in the recent past, I must have unchecked this.  The green stars are now back, but now every show has one (as expected, given the check marks under To Be Recorded in standard view).
