Hot-Keys
« on: October 06, 2020, 02:03:28 pm »

The hot-key to pause the player is ctrl-P, this is also Windows shortcut to print. So, if working on a document (or artwork, or almost anything), with the player minimised, pausing the player via hot-key brings up the print dialogue. So, how to change the player's hot-keys?

You could alt+tab to MC, then pause.

Otherwise if your keyboard has a dedicated pause button, that will work.

So, how to change the player's hot-keys?

You can also create a Custom Resource.xml, which is where the hot-keys are defined, and set up a new hot key for toggling Pause/Play.

Search the Forum and Wiki for Resource.xml to find details.

This is long overdue for a hotkeys UI in jriver.
