Scraper source options?
« on: October 13, 2020, 07:23:47 am »

Is there a way to have carnac choose from specific sources? Right now it seems like it grabs everything from TMDB which is fine for movies but I would much prefer to source out TVDB for tv series.

Carnac doesn't use an Internet metadata source at all:

Try a search here to read about TV metadata.

Sorry, I thought Carnac and Autoimport were one and the same feature.

This right here states what resources are used:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Automatic_Metadata_Lookup

My problem is that it is using TMDB for everything. I would like to use TVDB for tv series. If they both used the same series data it wouldn't be a problem but they don't and TMDB's tv series data isn't as full as tvdb's. How can make autoimport choose tvdb over other resources for tv series stuff?

MC no longer uses TheTVDB. It uses TheMovieDB for all movies and TV shows.

This has been discussed in detail elsewhere. There is no current solution to use TheTVDB.
