I was using MiniDsp's U-DIO8 card to manage my AES I/O. Testing showed excessive jitter, so I thought the Lynx AES16e wouled be better.
The same exact setup that worked with MiniDsp is NOT working with Lynx.

I tried Open Live / ASIO and I get a "Problem with Playback" error with no further details.
I tried the WASAPI option, but that seems to be a loopback, taking output from the PC, not input from the Lynx card.
I've played with a number of options, in desperation, even tried ASIO4ALL.

I can see from the Lynx mixer that I am getting a signal into the Lynx, so it's not a hardware problem.

How do I get this thing to work?

Just out of curiosity, how exactly were you testing and measuring the jitter?  Thx...

I have the same problem with my rme card. No solution up to now.
