MC27 Install to WIN 10 Hangs

I have MC22 installed on my WIN 10 system.  I get past the selection of Express install, with the Install Wizard popup that says "Coping Files" near the top, and "Upgrading from previous version..." above the progress bar.  Nothing ever appears in the progress bar, and eventually the title bar displays "(Not Responding)"

Any Suggestions?

I just installed MC27 and W10 crashed at about the same step of my installation.  I was able to get it to go through the second time, though.
