Error Streaming RadioTunes on MC 27 with Mac Big Sur OS
« on: November 14, 2020, 02:53:46 am »

When I try to play music by launching RadioTunes under "Streaming" with MC 27 I get the following error message:

"Oops, it appears your browser does not support playback of mp3 audio files necessary to use our service.  Please consider trying a different browser for the best playback experience."

This seems to be an issue related to the MAC Big Sur OS (11.0.1) as I don't get this error when I stream RadioTunes with MC 27 on another computer running Mac Catalina OS (10.15.7)

I have Big Sur and Radio streaming works OK.

Could you elaborate a little more and I'll try to do exactly what you are doing.

I think the error is only related to RadioTunes on MC 27 with Big Sur.  I can also stream other sites ok (e.g., RadioParadise, etc).  When I try to play RadioTunes from the "Streaming" section of MC 27, it launches the RadioTunes website.  Then when I try to stream one of the channels I get the error message shown in my original post.

Also, I should add, I am having this same issue on 3 different Mac computers all with MC 27 and Big Sur OS.

OK...Yes...I get the same error message.

Interesting.  XCode anomaly?
