USB Issues Using a MAC
« on: November 14, 2020, 01:42:38 pm »

Sorry for the confusion. I am super new to this site. I posted this issue on the windows page. please disregard. I am using a Mac. Here is the post (again):

I hope you can help. I perfer playing music in my car via USB. I download songs from a few sites like Prop Master and HD track. I always download them FLAC. Another opition is for me to download from Amazon using MP3.

A few Days ago I purchased the CD Hell Freezes Over by the Eagles. I used JRiver to ripped the songs on USB. When I got in my car to play the Eagles, my display said “loading error” all other songs played as normal. Am I missing something by ripping songs using JRiver onto a USB?

Thanks!

What format did you rip the CD to? Because that error could mean you ripped the CD to a format the car doesn't support.

Is there a choice of format within JRiver? If so where can I find it. I always use FLAC or either mp.3.

It's in the Rip options.  Little icon in the upper left corner.
