MC27 Volume Levels
McForMe:
Happy Thanksgiving, I just downloaded my free trial of Media Center and within a short time was able to populate all my audio files, metadata, etc. The software works seamless between my Mac Mini, DAC and system...awesome product! I'm sure this has been asked many times, but my only issue is the varying volume levels from one audio track to another. It's very noticeable when I listen to a Playlist of tracks from different albums. How can I "normalize" or run a sound check to even this out or make it less noticeable? Thank you.
JimH:
Try a search for Volume Leveling on the wiki.
Dawgincontrol:
More to the point. Go to Tools>Library Tools>Analyze Audio.
Then under Tools>Options>Audio>Settings>DSP & output format Select Volume Leveling
You must analyze your files first.
McForMe:
Thanks Dawgincontrol for the condensed reply. Are these permanent changes to the original audio file?
JimH:
Only a tag is changed.
