License
« on: December 02, 2020, 10:15:00 am »

I just started using Linux and want to continue using MC on my new Linux machine. Is there a way to upgrade my Windows license to Master or do I just purchase a Linux license for this year?

You can upgrade to the Master license from here: https://jriver.com/purchase_27_master_as_upgrade.html

It would cost about $40 to purchase V27 master license or $30 to purchase a V27 Linux license.  Since I already purchased a V27 Windows license it would cheaper to get a Unix license unless there is a benefit to using single license for both operating systems. My original post should have been clearer that I was hoping to pay an additional fee and convert my V27 Windows license to a master license at a cost savings over buying an additional license. Wishful thinking, I know. :)
