Visualizations don't react to sound

I now use 9.0.147 and it's been a few builds that the visualizations are displayed but don't react to the sound being played. Am I the only one with this problem?

Are you using KX drivers and ASIO output?

Yes. But I also tried on a different sound card with direct sound and didn't get it to work. What's the problem with KX drivers and ASIO?

Don't really know, my MC only don't show visualizations using ASIO output with 5.1 JRSS or 4 o even 2 channels output, using the default number of channels the visualization works fine

thanks! reverting to the default number of channels did the trick. That's really too bad though that we can't have the two things at the same time...
