Setting up new computer
« on: February 06, 2021, 08:42:08 pm »

I have been a JRiver Media user for like 6 years now, and now I just got a new computer... how do I upgrade from my old JR 26 to 27 on  my new laptop and retain allllll of my music files from other laptop?

I did copy all over to an external harddrive, but forgive me as I am not as tech savy as my kids :-)

thank you.

Here is a link to a detailed description using an external drive.

If you do not have an external usb drive, it is a good thing to have. You can use it for backups of your files so you have a copy if something happens to the ones on the main system. Western Digital My Passport Portable Hard Drive is an example. $65 for 2 TB Drive.
