You just need to update/replace the shortcut to point to MC27 instead of MC26.
There are many ways to do so. Here's one to fix the Desktop shortcut:
- right-click on the desktop shortcut, click "properties"
- on the Shortcut tag, change the 26 to 27:
before: "C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 26\Media Center 26.exe"
after: "C:\Program Files\J River\Media Center 27\Media Center 27.exe"
The Windows Start menu should also have shortcuts to both MC26 and MC27. You can find the MC27 shortcut there and just drag it to the Desktop to create a new shortcut. Or you can right-click on it and select "Pin to Taskbar".
