Getting a Lumin U1 Mini- What is best way to setup to use JRiver??

I have a Lumin U1 mini on the way to try out I picked up used.
Am using a Sonore UltraRendu right now and it works well with JRiver.

Are there a few must know steps to set up the U1 mini to use with JRiver?

I see there is an Lumin app that from what I have read is required to use to get started. 
I do have an IPAD I can use, also an Android phone, and my main PC that have JRiver on right now.

Any suggestions to point me in right direction are appreciated. Thanks.

There have been a couple of posts on the forum about Lumin devices. You might search on Lumin and contact the posters via PM about their setups.
