I use a Visual Basic script to toggle windows from HDR to SDR or back, depending on the movie I’m playing.
I am using Intel 630 integrated graphics in a fanless HTPC and after much googling and changing settings, MadVR does not have a way to automatically cause the intel graphics to flip from SDR to HDR when an HDR source is played so I have to turn on windows HDR manually.
It then works perfectly for HDR but then the SDR sources are washed out.
I have a .vbs script on my desktop that I double-click to run and it automatically uses Windows Settings to turn the Windows 10 HDR on and off by toggling. It’s easier and quicker and works the same as doing it manually each time.
Question: is there any way to set Media Center to automatically run this small script when I open a certain set of files (HDR video) and hopefully run it again when I stop play.
