JRiver Main Library
« on: February 19, 2021, 09:06:54 am »

JRiver is not doing what I want or what I expect but that's my issue.

I am looking at the Main Library on this particular instance of JRiver.  I want to delete the contents of the library, zero it out, but can't seem to do it.  I switch to another library on the network so that I can play with the Main Library.  Next I hit Clear and then configure auto-import to look at a single directory on my local drive with nothing in it whatsoever and hit finish.  Sadly, the software continues to hold on to the old entries and, as expected, finds no files to add from the newly created auto-import location.  The new auto-import location is the only entry in the list.

What am I doing wrong and how do I zero out the contents of the "Main Library"?

Thanks in advance!

File > Library > Clear Library

Back it up first in case you want it back.

No files are changed.  Just MC's database.

Thanks Jim.  I must have not hit "Clear" the first time.  Works like I "figured" it should  ;D
