See that "paused" bug? I tried to duplicate that here yesterday.
The 1st time I did it, I was very conscious of the ongoing test and MC was only paused for 15 minutes. It restarted without a hitch.
I began to wonder if I'd left it paused long enough, so tried again. This time I actually forgot all about it, paused and minimised to tray as it was. I only remembered MC's paused state after playing a couple of hours worth of mercedes benz truckracing. This time, on the resume, MC got stuck looping the same half-second of sound over and over and over, rather loudly. I closed MC and the darn noise persisted. The only way I could find to stop it was to reboot. Do our respective chosen output modes have any bearing on this? I'm using...
32-bit bitdepth
source number of channels
48,000 Hz sample rate
ASIO
spdif-out on a Creative Labs soundblaster audigy player
The other thing, that has been reported before, way back, is that when MC xfades between tracks where one has audio analysis, and one doesn't, the sound on the second file gets messed up. You need to stop and restart the track to fix the sound.
