It looks like you fixed my problem with lost comments data!

My last problem with comments in the id3v2 tag has to do with the track info pages in the playing now screen. It appears that the templates default to the data in the ID3V1 tag rather than the data in the ID3V2 tag.

For example, the following occurs if the ID3V2 tag contains comment text:

Scenario 1: if the comment field in the ID3V1 tag is empty, the track info pages display the text in the ID3V2 tag

Scenario 2: if the comment field in the ID3V1 tag contains data (limited to 28 characters by the spec), the track info pages display this text rather than the text in the ID3V2 comment field. Thus, I cannot display all of the text (album reviews) stored in my comment field. Note that the V1 tag will always contain data because your algorithm writes to this field whenever any file property is updated.


I would prefer to have the track info pages default to the data in the V2 tag. Display info in V1 only if the v2 tag is empty.
