No Center Channel Output When Upconverting (Solved)
« on: April 18, 2021, 03:13:17 pm »

Using the latest W10x64 and .82. Don't know when this started, just noticed it today.

Using onboard Realtek, with the customary setup for Realtek, 7.1 output for surround channels to work (speakers are 5.1).

Works fine when playing discreet surround audio, only when upconverting 2-channel audio to 5.1/7.1. Center channel output is 00.0 db. Selecting/unselecting "move center to front speakers" makes no difference.

Edit:
Tried earlier versions of 27, no go. Latest 26 worked, so did a complete uninstall/reinstall of 27, including deleting C:\Program Files\J River folders. All is well.

Ryzen 5 W11 x64 MC 29 HTPC/Server and HP G2 Mini Elitedesk W11 MC 29 (music only zone), various Android Phones and Tablets for control of both, powering two lanai surround systems, 5.1 and 4.1 respectively.
