Hello everyone!

I know I have seen this information in the forum but a search and spending 30 minutes sifting and sorting, can't seem to find it again and the info in the Wiki doesn't seem to be what I need either.

What I would like to know, before I start ripping BDs/DVDs from my personal media collection (just under 4k releases) is how I should name them, so they are auto imported properly?
I have ripped a few and they import as things like title-1 which is the file name but then attach to weird cover art.
I don't mind calling each rip say, C:\ShowName\Disc1 and Disc2 etc and calling the MKV something appropriate when I rip it. Just want to ensure I do this right to make it as "simple" as possible.

Right now I was planning to set them up in folders named after the show (for Anime) or movie name.

Hi,

usually I use for movie rips something like T:\Video\Movie & TV Show\BD\The Specialist_t00.mkv.

I don't use subfolders - they make no sense - I don't use win explorer for any file operation. Instead I use the capabilities of MC Library Tools.

The directory T:\Video\Movie & TV Show\BD\ contains then all Movie & TV Show rips.

For series I use the MC guideline how to name them:

S:\Video\Movie & TV Show\BD\The Blacklist.S04E01.Esteban (No. 79).mkv

"Esteban (No. 79)" is not necessary but I add that to the filename for convenience.
