XP remote desktop and MC playback
« on: April 03, 2003, 11:49:45 pm »

Hi all,
Anybody using remote desktop to control MC. When I try it MC will not play back, saying an error occured and to check the settings. If you are using wave as the output source then MS change this to 'microsoft rdp mixer' and it dosn't work. This is also true when you tell remote desktop to leave the sound alone, leave on the remote computer. I have changed now to asio but still remote desktop does something, If MC was running before I started remote desktop then on connection from a remote client I could play files ok. In build 141 this changed ad I now get the error starting playback. Bah why can't MS leave asio alone.

Any help would be appreciated, anyone else using remote desktop?
