Standard bluray files are dim after watching 4K HDR file
« on: July 04, 2021, 11:39:18 am »

I am using Red October HQ with an Nvidia 1030 video card.
If I load a 4K movie it looks fine and plays without issue.
When I stop playing the movie, the menu overlay looks find in Theater View.
However if I load an SDR 1080P movie file it is very dim, like the movie was shot without any additional lighting.

The problem resolves itself as soon as I exit MC 27 and restart it.

I think that's a known video driver problem.  Try a Google search.  It was also discussed here a few days ago.  Maybe on the video board.
