Media Editor not freezes up opening files

I have MC 9.0.103 and when I try to open files in Media Editor there is no progress on the decoding bar, it just stays there and never opens the file.  Has this been fixed in recent builds?  Are you guys aware of the problem?

ALSO, how can I scroll horizontally in MC9 other than going all the way down to the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen?  My Logitech mouse used to be able to use autoscroll (scrolling in the direction the mouse is moved) in MJ8 but in MC9 when I try to autoscroll it only shows arrows for up or down instead of up, down, left and right.  Any thoughts?

Please upgrade to the latest MC (9.0.140) -- this was fixed long ago.

The newest version is available in the top thread on this board.

Counting Backwards from 10 and taking deep breaths helps me sometimes.

how stable is this new build? 9.0.103 was perfect except for the Media Editor thing.

ALSO Matt, any thoughts on the scroll issue?

I just read the 9.0.140 page and will wait if some of the stuff in that build doesn't yet work.  Thank you anyways.

I'm not sure why you would want to wait. B140 puts the boogie on alot of bugs that are present in B103. Seldom are new ones introduced by newer builds.

Listening to: Hedwig and the Angry Inch - "Midnight Radio" (in ogg format of course).

PS: Forgot how to have MC do the "Listening to...". How is that done again?
