Something went wrong with playback - new OGG files I added.
« on: August 06, 2021, 04:44:45 pm »

I have a utility that downloads files from YouTube and stores them in OGG format.  I have been using it for some time with no problems but recently all of the files I download won't play in MC.  I get the Something went wrong with playback message.  These same files play fine in other players like VLC.  I am using version 27.0.85.  Happy to post more information to help me diagnose this, just need to know what information to provide.  Thanks.

Is it an Opus file inside an OGG container? If so, Media Center 27 won't be able to play it but you probably should try Media Center 28, as it does indeed support Opus now.

It is indeed opus.  I downloaded V28 and tried it and it wouldn’t play it either.  Same error message.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
