Not finding CD’s unable to rip?

Are you able to see the CD in the OS normally? Tried ripping with another app? XLD, for example, is an excellent CD-ripper and free.

Yes the CD comes up on my Desktop but im unable to rip the disc with J River as its saying no CD found ?

No, I've had the same thing but use another program for ripping now which see it no problem.
