Not finding CD’s unable to rip?

haven't ripped anything for a couple of weeks, let me try a few tonight and see what's up

I tried it on my system but it shows up normally (latest MC and OS, mac mini M1 with apple usb superdrive).

My Mac is maxed out at Catalina - unable to use BIG Sur - wondering if that is affecting it at all?

Having the same issue with Big Sur.  Still have MC 27 on my Mac.  No issues there, just with MC 28.
