Cannot See My Version 21 Views in Version 28
« on: August 10, 2021, 10:17:00 am »

I just updated MC from version 21 to version 28.

In version 21 I made a few views for my playlists and in version 28 I cannot find them. When I use version, click on a playlist and then click on one of the column headers. All that are listed are:

  (Empty)
  Audio
  Image
  Visual
  Save
  Delete

When I go to "Roaming\J River\Media Center 28\Library\Saved Views I can see version 21's view names but they are not listed when I click on a column header in version 28.

How can I get those version 21 views into version 28?

You can click "Load a view from file..." and browse to the file.

If the format has changed since v21 I don't know.  You'll just have to try.

When I click View > Add View > Add Library View, a window that shows thumbnails of different views appears. I cannot find anything I could use to browse to the folder that contains the views I've saved. This occurs on both version 21 and version 28.

How can I browse to locate my view?

Customize an existing view and the option should appear.
