Tools > Options Don't Seem To Be Sticky

If I open version 28 click Tools>Options>Audio (or any of the other options that are listed along the left part of the Options window), then close version 28 and re-open it, most if not all of the options are open again. Shouldn't those options be sticky and remain as they are when I close MC?

Is Media Server running at the same time? If so, you may also need to close it via the system tray icon. Otherwise, the only other thing that comes to mind is either it's not closing correctly or some app (e.g. security app) is blocking Media Center from writing to %APPDATA% and/or the registry.

No, Media Server is not running. I don't even know what it is, and have not used it since I started with MC 15 years ago.

I have the same problem with MC version 21. Guess that's just how the thing works.  :(
