How are the "restores remaining" decremented?

Hi,

I am upgrading four installations of MC 27 to MC28.  Each time I do an upgrade, I restore the license using the 30-digit license code.  JRiver then sends me a temporary install key which I don't use.  The email also shows the restores remaining count being decremented.

Is this correct operation or am I choosing the incorrect method of installing the license after upgrade?

Read the wiki topic on Restoring a License.

You can use the Install Key from the first license restore to license the other machines.  It doesn't use a Restore and it's eaiser.
