JRemote times out with MC28

I just upgraded from MC27 to MC28.
JRemote won't connect (timeout reported) to MC28 but has no problem connecting to MC27.
I verified that DLNA is enabled and the password and port are identical for both versions of MC.

Any suggestions for other settings that can be checked?
