I have media on multiple drives. PITA to have the sort break on drive letter.
D:\download\xyz
E:\download\abc
F:\download\def

would become

\download\abc
\download\def
\download\xyz

You can create a new computed field that removes the drive letter and then use it for sorting.
This expression removes the drive letter:
