Dirac vst plugin on Linux
« on: October 19, 2021, 10:36:02 am »

Been playing with Dirac on my Windows versions of JRiver Media Center 28 with some positive results. Have not been able to install the vst plugin on the Linux JRiver Id I use in another room with MC 27. The Dirac plugin works just fine on a laptop running windows in that location. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If there is a link that explores this I would love to find it. Thanks!

Dirac VST plugins only work for Windows and Mac, don't they? To work on Linux, a Linux version of the VST plugin has to be available. You can't use ones meant for Windows/Mac on Linux (or vice versa).

I don't work for JRiver... I help keep the forums safe from "male enhancements" and other sources of sketchy pharmaceuticals.

Thanks for your reply. I was afraid of that. I knew the Dirac applications themselves are only available in Windows and Mac but I was hoping the plugin would still work.
