4k playback issues

Recently some of my 4k movies are playing in pink and green

Anyone got any ideas

Can you post a screenshot? Sounds like those might be Dolby Vision files (which would have a green or purple tint), which are not supported.

Nope. That sounds like DV profile 5 with single stream which is not backward compatible with normal HDR.

If your TV can play those ... and it has DLNA ... then can choose your TV as renderer in MC ... and TV will play it.

New Apple TV and NVidia Shield can play those too. Shield can also play UHD DV ripped from disk using MakeMKV. Of course you need DV TV too.
