Open Live: playback non fluid
« on: November 22, 2021, 11:02:17 am »

Hello
I am using JRiver with an RME ADI2 PRO in A2D and D2A mode to apply DSP to vinyl, using the open live feture which worked fine in the past (JRiver 27 at least I am sure)
After some updates I revamped this setup but I am experiencing some playback issues: the sound is somehow sighing (not full interruption but kind of echo)
It is not a plug issue (I disabled Acon declick and Dirac Live). I changed tha buffer size of the DAC and ADC without success
Please help and advise at least on how to investigate what the issue could be

thanks

I had a similar problem with MC24.
Maybe the solution will help you :

I fixed this using the Acon VST2 plugins instead of VST3. It appears that VST3 plugins does not work (it is either JRiver or Acon issue, cannot say).

JRiver loads the plugins flawlessly but for some reasons the playback sighs and delay intermittently

You could try adjusting the VST buffer size in options (Audio > Advanced > VST buffer size).

You could try the 32 bit version of MC.
