Mac Specs for other than Silicon?
« on: December 04, 2021, 01:49:30 pm »

I have a dedicated-to-media Mac Mini. It's an Intel, 2011 with 16tb RAM and 2, 1TB SSDs internally.
I'm running Catalina (10.13.6) - no extreanous software. Currently, it is dedicated to high resolution music files.

How well will JRiver Media Center 28 run on my machine?

That machine sounds fine to me.  Especially because it has SSDs for it's main drive (OS and applications).

You can download and run MC for 30 days with no limitations at all.  So try it out and you'll see how it performs with your setup.

10.13 is High Sierra, not Catalina. MC works fine even in a 2007 iMac with SSD.
