The Mac version of Media Center is working great on my M1 Mac.
I use a number of audio plugins in the audio path outside of Media Center with other host programs.
There is a great performing zero latency multi-channel convolver that must run under Rosetta to apply room correction FIR filters.
It would be fantastic if someone could recompile it to run native on Apple Silicon.I received the message below after contacting the author/developer:
http://www.angelofarina.it/X-MCFX.htmThis is open source, so, you can easily recompile it for the Mac-M1.
Here the Github repository for the source code:
https://github.com/JB-Luke/X-MCFX/tree/developIf you manage to do that, please send me the new version of the plugins compiled for the M1, so I can make them available to the community.
Bye
Angelo
I will gladly help with testing of the recompiled version and provide tips and guidance for developing FIR audio filters for loudspeaker/room correction and digital crossovers.
