If I go to my media player via mstsc (Remote Desktop), play a song, close the mstsc window, JRiver stops playing the song and crashes.

Expected behavior: JRiver should continue playing the song.

Note: mstsc is configured to play audio on the remote computer. This works fine with foobar2000, Spotify and tidal.

Some remote desktops have trouble with audio.

Take a look at the wiki and the topic called Remotes.  You have a lot of choices.  Start with Panel.
