where is feedback on ripping quality?
« on: March 25, 2003, 04:06:04 am »

If I recall correctly, after ripping in MJ8 there's a popup that shows track quality (e.g., 100% means no sampling problems).  There's a similar screen in EAC.   But I haven't seen any such screen in MC9.

It's important to have this feedback available, at least as an option.

Thanks,

This feedback is available when you use secure ripping mode.  Chnage to this mode in the CD options and the dialog box will appear (unless you are using auto rip when it is supressed due to its affect on the autorip process)

Hi Adam,

Thanks for responding.

Under "Advanced Ripping Settings", I always use "Copy Mode: Digital Secure".  Is this what you mean?  If so, it doesn't work for me (i.e., no feedback).

Perhaps I'm using auto-rip without knowing it, but I never click on the "Auto-rip" button in the "CD Rip" screen (I click "Start").
