Difficulty using the Media Server in MC28 for Mac
« on: December 27, 2021, 03:24:12 pm »

I just attached a screen shot of the Registration Information we get from MC28 under the Help link.  As you can see, we should have 40 days left in our trial period.

I can no longer send any of the audio files that we ripped using MC28 -- over our internal (non-internet) LAN -- to our playback device.  As this used to function quite well, this leads me to believe that the Media Network has been deactivated somehow?

Is there a way to verify that our trial period is no longer active?

MacBook Pro 17 (early-2011) and MacBook Pro 15 (mid-2015).  The older MBP17 is operating via macOS Sierra 10.12.6, while the newer MBP 15 still operates via OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and both machines are still as stable as a couple of rocks.

I'm new to JRiver MC28 for Mac, so please forgive the newbie question...but do I need to uninstall the older version of MC28 for Mac to install the newer version that you linked me to?

And all features are available in the demo versions.
You probably need to turn on Media Network in MC's Tools->Options.
